The Faith Gym 7 – Living in the Now and Not Yet

Pastor Max completes his series, “The Faith Gym.” Many first century Jews conceived of time as having two ages: the present evil age, and the future Kingdom of God age. Jesus came and inaugurated the Kingdom age, but it did not immediately remove the present evil age. Heaven is here, as miracles demonstrate, but it is not all the way here, and there are many forces resisting it. These two ages or Kingdoms are at war with each other. This is often called the “Now/Not Yet” dichotomy of the Kingdom. In this teaching, Pastor Max address the question, “How do we live successfully, given this difficult dynamic?”
